I’m so glad you’re here!
I'm Dr. Christina Light-Griffin, and I bring a powerful combination of clinical expertise, specialized trauma training, and deep spiritual commitment to my therapeutic practice. As a licensed professional Christian therapist, I create a unique healing environment where evidence-based techniques and biblical wisdom work in harmony to address life's most challenging struggles.
My journey into therapeutic ministry began at the University of Tennessee at Martin, where I earned my bachelor's degree in sociology, developing a foundation in understanding human relationships and social dynamics. My passion for helping families heal led me to Liberty University, where I completed my master's degree in human services with specialized cognates in Family and Marriage.
Recognizing the critical need for advanced clinical training, I furthered my education with a Post-Master Certificate in Professional Counseling in Rehabilitation and Mental Health from Virginia Commonwealth University's prestigious Medical School of Health Sciences. My academic journey culminated in 2022 when I earned my Doctor of Biblical Psychology degree from HOPE Institute with perfect academic standing.
What truly sets my practice apart is my specialized trauma expertise. As a certified compassion fatigue educator and practitioner, as well as a field trauma specialist, I bring exceptional insight to those experiencing emotional exhaustion, secondary trauma, and life's most difficult circumstances. My unique approach integrates cutting-edge trauma techniques with faith-centered healing principles, creating pathways for profound restoration.
I believe that true healing engages the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. Whether you're seeking individual counseling, couples therapy, or specialized trauma treatment, my personalized approach addresses your unique needs while honoring your spiritual journey.
